The Journey to the perfect office chair
We embarked on a mission to make it easier for you and your colleagues to sit correctly and comfortably during long office hours. Our goal was to create the optimal office chair - a piece of Scandinavian design that not only provides the right ergonomic support but is also easy to adjust and enjoy.
Expert collaboration
Designing new products is embedded in our DNA, with roughly 30% of our range being self-designed and manufactured. Our well-established process, from feasibility study to finished product, involves continuous improvement and learning. For HURRAY, we consulted with an ergonomics expert who provided insights into anatomy and the fundamentals of sitting. Our design team then crafted a new and improved seating solution based on these insights.
We worked alongside specialists renowned for their expertise in the form and function of office chairs. Our aim was to produce a chair with relevant, user-friendly features, a comfortable seating experience and an appealing design. Through discussions and sketching, we developed a chair where every component is thoughtfully designed and purposeful. It was also important for us to test how these parts function together to create an ideal complete product.

A common challenge is understanding how to adjust an office chair. We dedicated a lot of time and energy to make this process straightforward and quick. The quality mechanism is controlled by just two levers, allowing you to adjust the tilt functionality, seat depth, and seat height for good posture and a comfortable knee angle. The simplicity ensures you can take advantage of all the variations the chair offers.

Functional backrest design
HURRAY promotes health and well-being right from the start. Its unique, tapered upper design allows full shoulder movement, promoting blood circulation in the neck, shoulders, and upper arms. The backrest's shape is not only unique but also supportive, following the natural S-curve of the spine from the lumbar to the thoracic region. Its slightly concave form provides extra support, and the entire backrest can be height-adjusted to offer support where you need it most.
Thoughtful support for the entire body
The neck rest, designed to support your neck rather than the back of your head, is adjustable to fit individual needs. Similarly, the armrests are 4D adjustable: in height, side-to-side, forward/backward, and angled front-to-back, ensuring proper arm support regardless of position so that muscles in the neck, shoulders, and upper arms can relax.
Firm seat cushion for maximum comfort
Contrary to popular belief, a firm cushion provides better long-term support. To maximize comfort throughout your workday, we’ve selected a thick, firm cushion for HURRAY. The seat’s front edge is rounded to minimize pressure on the back of your knees and thighs.
