Desk SONITUS

In classrooms, there are lots of things happening that can result in high levels of noise and clatter. Scraping chair feet, banging on furniture and the slamming of drawers are examples of factors that increase the noise level. This may result in poor concentration and low productivity among both students and staff. The SONITUS student desk helps to remedy the problem thanks to its top with excellent sound-dampening properties.
The desktop is covered in linoleum, which is easy to clean or wipe down. Linoleum is made from natural and renewable raw materials. Compared with competing sound-absorbent materials, it has a small carbon footprint. For the SONITUS desk, the linoleum we use bears the Nordic Ecolabel.
The semicircular student table can be used in several different ways. For example, you can push two semicircular tables together to create a completely round worktable. Another alternative is to place it at the end of a square or rectangular table. Naturally, the table can also stand on its own. It has a robust steel frame with legs made of sturdy, round tubing. The entire frame is powder coated in discreet colours.
