Large platform scales

These balances are easy to use and are ideal for warehouses or factory floors thanks to their durability and larger weighing area. If you aren’t able to access a mains socket, don’t worry – a rechargeable battery pack is included for up to 60 hours’ usage. The indicator, with a backlit LCD, is remote so you can position it on a wall or fix it to a workbench to get the best viewing position for you and has a display hold function that lets you see the value even once the weight has been removed. Dynamic weighing means the scales can be used on uneven surfaces or to weigh animals with a stabilisation time of 2-3 seconds. Adjustable, non-slip feet provide extra stability and wheels and a handle are fitted to the units for easy manoeuvrability. You can connect the scales to a computer or printer using the bi-directional R-232 interface and request gross, net and tare weights be sent automatically using standard commands. The grade 304 stainless steel pan rests on a mild steel base and is removable for easy cleaning.
